Pakistan Navy conducted a successful test flight of an indigenously developed ship-launched Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile. The weapon system is capable of engaging sea as well as ground targets with high precision. The system is equipped with state-of-the-art guidance and advanced manoeuvrability features.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan Military Media Wing on Tuesday, the flight test was witnessed by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), Chief of the Naval Staff, senior scientists and engineers.
The successful flight test is a testimony to Pakistan’s technological prowess and Pakistan Navy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding national interests.
The President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Field Marshal, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs congratulated participating units and scientists on this milestone achievement.

Several social media accounts on Tuesday circulated the news that Pakistan has allegedly tested an ICBM or hypersonic missile, citing the unusual and colourful cloud formation over the skies in Balochistan near Quetta.
A user, Clash Report, shared a post on X, claiming that Pakistan has likely conducted an unconfirmed missile test early today, near Harnai, Balochistan.
“Locals spotted spiralling trails and bright plumes. OSINT sources suggest a possible ballistic or hypersonic test,” he wrote, along with sharing photos.
