ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan is emerging as a prestigious and trustworthy country, and under the leadership of Field Marshal, our armed forces have raised flags of success.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Atta Tarar said that Pakistan’s trade with other countries is continuously increasing, and wherever Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif goes, he highlights Pakistan’s products and economic capabilities. The Federal Minister for Information says that Malaysia has increased Pakistan’s rice quota in the halal market, which is clear proof of confidence in Pakistani products in the global market.

He said that foreign delegations visiting Pakistan are taking a keen interest in investment and cooperation in various sectors, while the positive effects of the Prime Minister’s foreign visits on the country’s economy are clearly visible. Atta Tarar said that if different countries are inviting Pakistan, it is a sign of trust and respect for Pakistan. Foreign leadership is talking about cooperation with Pakistan in trade, defense, and other sectors.

He said that the red carpet and protocol received at the global level are a sign of respect for Pakistan, the Prime Minister, and every Pakistani. Referring to the past, the Federal Minister for Information said that there was a time when the politics of rudeness and ego had isolated Pakistan at the global level. The East was also angry, and the West was also angry, due to which Pakistan became isolated at the international level. Today, the world is rolling out the red carpet for Pakistan, which is a testament to the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the respect of the nation.

He said that today, overseas Pakistanis are feeling proud of investing in Pakistan; the transparent auction of PSL teams is a reflection of global trust in Pakistan, where the teams were sold for Rs 1.75 billion and Rs 1.85 billion. He said that this investment will provide income to Pakistan every year. According to Atta Tarar, the groups buying PSL teams are overseas Pakistanis, one group of which belongs to Australia and the other to the US.
