Pakistan secured a crucial victory over Sri Lanka by 5 wickets in the Asia Cup Super 4 match held in Abu Dhabi.

Sri Lanka set a target of 134 runs for Pakistan to chase, and Pakistan successfully reached the target, losing 5 wickets in the process. Mohammad Nawaz was instrumental in the team’s success, scoring 38 runs, while Hussain Talat contributed 32 runs. Sahibzada Farhan added 24 runs, and Fakhar Zaman scored 17 runs. Mohammad Haris chipped in with 13 runs, and captain Salman Ali Agha played a key role with a modest but important contribution of 5 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Kamindu Mendis was the standout performer, scoring 50 runs.

On the bowling side, Shaheen Shah Afridi excelled with 3 wickets, while Haris Rauf and Hussain Talat each took 2 wickets. Abrar Ahmed added to the attack by dismissing one batsman.
