The process of repatriation of Pakistani students studying in Afghanistan has accelerated, under which 1100 students reached Pakistan by air yesterday.

According to sources, due to the closure of border routes, these students were brought back in different stages, while 947 other students are likely to reach home before Eid.

Sources further said most of the returning students belong to the tribal areas and different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and these students were studying in medical colleges in Kabul and Jalalabad.
