In a successful operation, the Pakistan Army captured and destroyed the IAG 2 post and inflicted heavy casualties on the militants. This operation was carried out on February 28, 2026 under the initial shooting and effective strategy.
According to security sources, during the operation, the militants left their post and started running towards dense trees and bushes, where they were targeted with all available weapons and heavy weapons of the Pakistan Army. Blackout and sniper squads remained deployed in the area and kept a constant watch on the movement of possible enemies.
The attacking squad was led by Major Akbar and a team of about 20 personnel successfully captured the post. Considering the importance of the post and to prevent its strategic advantage, it was later completely destroyed by explosion.
Pakistan Army officials say that 4 to 5 militants were killed and 3 to 4 injured in this operation, while the army troops succeeded in their objectives without any loss. This step has been taken to maintain peace and order in the area and thwart the actions of militant elements.
This operation of the Pakistan Army not only sends a clear message to the enemy but also reflects the determination that every possible step will be taken to protect the country’s borders and citizens.
