Pakistan Army host an Annual Sports Gala in “Umeed Special Education School” for special children under the supervision of Pakistan Army.
Special children from Umeed Special School, Peshawar, Ashiana Special Education School, Kohat, FG School, Peshawar, APS, Peshawar, and Baitul Ithama School also participated in the sports gala. There are 188 special children are studying in Umeed Special School, Peshawar
Umeed Special School provides education and training to children with visual, hearing, physical, and mental disabilities. Three talented students of the school have also participated in international competitions, which is a testament to the quality education and training of this institution.
On this occasion, Corps Commander 11 Corps attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Cricket, badminton, tug-of-war, and football competitions were also organized among special children. The special children of the school presented various tableaux at the ceremony.
Gifts were also distributed among the children at the end of the game.

WANA,: Pakistan Army has gifted a highly revered present to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after finishing the mosque construction and renovation projects all over the region.
In Wana area of South Waziristan, the Span Mosque was established in July 2021 with the help of the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South). In addition to the mosque, a large courtyard and a magnificent hall have been constructed, thereby can be used by more than 5,000 worshippers.
The mosque’s Imam added that children from the remote areas come to attend both religious and secular classes, whereas the local people said that they were thankful to the Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps for their valuable services.
The Army has also facilitated in the construction and renovation of mosques in the districts of erstwhile FATA, including that of the Suleman Khel Mosque in Bajaur and the Arab Mosque. At the students’ request, a Jamia Masjid Farooq-e-Azam was built and renovated at the University of Malakand. Also, projects were completed in Mir Ali, Sararogha, Ladha, and Makeen in North and South Waziristan besides there.
Not only have these measures improved the infrastructure for worship, but they have also contributed to the strengthening of love and mutual trust between the Pakistan Army and the local people.
