The Pakistan Army has foiled a major attempt by terrorists to infiltrate from across the border in the Chaman sector near the Pak-Afghan border and arrested Afghan terrorists.
After the operation, the arrested terrorists were presented before the local population, where the citizens reacted strongly against them.
According to security sources, the terrorists were trying to cross the border and enter Pakistani territory when the well-equipped forces of the Pakistan Army surrounded them, took timely action and arrested them alive. Weapons and prohibited materials were also recovered from the possession of these terrorists.
When the arrested terrorists were brought before the locals, the anger of the citizens present there erupted, and they cursed the terrorists in a loud voice.
The locals raised slogans against the terrorists and strongly condemned these violent acts from across the border.
The citizens said that such terrorist attempts are a sinister conspiracy to destroy the peace of the region and the tranquillity of the local population, which the Pakistan Army and the people will jointly foil.
