ISLAMABAD: The Ministers of Foreign Affairs from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Qatar welcome the invitation extended by President Donald J. Trump of the United States to their leaders to join the Board of Peace.

In a joint statement, the Ministers announce their countries’ shared decision to join the Board of Peace. Each country will sign the joining documents according to its respective legal procedures, including Egypt, Pakistan, and the UAE, which have already announced their intention to join.

The Ministers reaffirm their countries’ support for the peace efforts led by President Trump and commit to supporting the implementation of the Board of Peace’s mission. This mission, outlined in the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict and endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, aims to establish a permanent ceasefire, support the reconstruction of Gaza, and promote a just and lasting peace that respects the Palestinian right to self-determination and statehood in accordance with international law. This endeavour is intended to pave the way for security and stability for all countries and peoples in the region.
