Pakistan Cricket Board decided to play its scheduled T20 World Cup match against India amid repeated requests of the International Cricket Council and the Sri Lankan cricket Board.

According to media reports, Pakistan decided to play the match against India due to repeated requests at the international level. Earlier, the Sri Lankan President requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over the telephone that the Pakistani cricket team should play this match held in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan President reminded us on this occasion that, despite terrorism, Pakistan has always provided full support to Sri Lankan cricket, and the Pakistani team also continued to play cricket in Sri Lanka in difficult circumstances.

It should be noted that yesterday, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi met with ICC Deputy Chairman and Bangladesh Cricket Board President, in which this important issue was discussed. Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that things are going well with ICC. As soon as there is any progress, we will bring it to the media; however, we are not afraid of anyone.

Mohsin Naqvi said that it is our tradition to honor a guest when they come to our house, and many things are neglected on such occasions.
