ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) conducted airstrikes against the Afghan cities of Kabul and Kandahar after receiving confirmation from security sources about unprovoked border attacks which occurred along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
The airstrikes targeted essential Taliban locations according to reports which caused some Taliban leaders to seek refuge in underground caves. The operations resulted in the destruction of multiple Taliban hideouts which were located near the Kurram sector.
The security officials stated that the Pakistani armed forces will provide a strong response against any military attacks which occur without provocation while they protect national borders and secure public safety.
The operations demonstrate Pakistan’s dedication to eliminating cross-border threats which try to destabilize the regional area.
Tarar vows strong response to Afghan border firing, denounces propaganda
Meanwhile, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced that Pakistan will maintain its border defense operations after the country condemned unprovoked terrorist attacks which occurred at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Afghan Taliban forces have attacked Pakistani border areas according to the minister who announced that Pakistan had responded to these attacks with its professional armed forces. Official reports confirm that 36 Taliban operatives died during these operations while multiple others sustained injuries. The operation resulted in two Pakistani soldiers achieving martyrdom while three soldiers sustained injuries.
Minister Tarar denounced the spread of false information through social media and foreign channels which included claims from Afghan Taliban accounts and Indian platforms. He stated that the rumours which he described as baseless spread because the military operations had failed to achieve their objectives.
The minister emphasized that Pakistan will not permit the Taliban to use deception as a shield while the country continues its battle against border intrusions. He showed that Afghan Taliban support for terrorists who operate in Pakistan demonstrates their guilt to the world through his explanation of recent successful anti-terrorist operations.
Minister Tarar urged Afghanistan to learn lessons from past failures and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to neutralize the threats of any hostile forces along its borders.
“Alhamdulillah, our forces are thwarting the designs of the aggressors and defending the homeland with professionalism,” he said.
