Pakistan army foiled a major terrorist attempt and shoot down three drones of Afghan Fitan-ul Khawarij coming from across the border.

According to the Pakistan Army and local security sources, this cowardly act was carried out by the terrorist group Fitnatul Khawarij (FAK) working with the support of the Afghan Taliban.

This morning, terrorists used three rudimentary drones to target sensitive areas of Kohat. As soon as suspicious movements were detected in the air, the anti-drone system and alert personnel of the Pakistani security forces took immediate action and destroyed the three drones in the air.

Tragically, the debris of the drones that were destroyed in the air fell on a nearby residential area, resulting in two injuries. The injured have been immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger.

Security officials say that the terrorists of the Fitnat al-Khawarij are behind these attacks, who have the full support and shelter of the Taliban government inside Afghanistan. Pakistan has repeatedly proven on the international stage that Afghan soil is being used for terrorism against Pakistan.

Pakistani security forces have issued a clear and strong message after this incident. Pakistani forces are on full alert to protect the borders and deal with any threat of terrorism. Security officials have made it clear that any terrorist act against Pakistan, whose fabric meets with Afghanistan, will be responded to with the most severe and full force.

Pakistan has warned that now not only the safe havens of terrorists will be targeted, but also their facilitators and the support infrastructure of the Taliban government inside Afghanistan will have to face a befitting reply.

Security has been tightened in Kohat and surrounding areas following the incident. Law enforcement agencies are examining the debris to gather more evidence about the technology of the drones and their launch location.
