PESHAWAR: The outgoing Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, chairs the last parliamentary party meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), marking his final engagement with party members before stepping down.
The meeting was followed by a heartfelt farewell dinner, where Gandapur expressed his gratitude to party parliamentarians for their support during his tenure. In a show of solidarity, PTI lawmakers gathered to bid farewell to Gandapur, who served as the province’s chief executive for the last one and a half years. The event provided an opportunity for members to reflect on their achievements and the challenges faced during their leadership.
Gandapur, in his address, thanked the party’s leadership and workers, emphasizing the collective efforts that led to significant developmental projects and governance reforms in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The farewell dinner was a symbol of appreciation for the outgoing CM’s leadership and service to the province.
The meeting was attended by Chief Minister-designate Sohail Afridi, Speaker Provincial Assembly Babar Saleem Swati, Deputy Speaker Suraya Bibi, and members of the Provincial Assembly. On this occasion, PTI leadership vowed to fully support Chairman Imran Khan’s nominated candidate, Sohail Afridi, for the slot of Chief Minister. The members of the assembly reiterated their commitment to the party’s unity, discipline, and implementation of the decisions of the party’s founding chairman, Imran Khan.
