DERA ISMAEL KHAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur attended the funeral prayers of police martyrs in last night’s attack and paid glowing tributes to their sacrifices for the cause of the country.
Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inspector General, General officer commander(GOC), Commissioner, DIG, and civil and military officials also attended the funeral prayers. Addressing on the occasion, Ali Amin Gandapur announces a martyrs’ package of Rs 10 million for martyred personnel and Rs 05 million for injured personnel.
Besides the Rs 10 million reward announced for soldiers and officers who displayed bravery in the operation, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur lauded the role of police martyrs and said that police sacrifices are unforgettable, and they always set an example of courage and sacrifices. Ali Amin Gandapur saluted the resolve of the police and security forces to eradicate terrorism. He said that establishing law and order has always been our top priority, and they adopted the path of dialogue and consensus for peace at all levels. He said that they took practical steps to eradicate terrorism from its roots and always prioritized increasing the capacity of the police force.
He added that the KP government took practical steps to provide modern resources to the police and introduced special packages for the families of martyrs. He also appreciated the courage and determination of the police force against miscreant elements.
