ORAKZAI: Intense clashes occurred between security forces and militants identified as “Khwarij” in the Toda Mela area of Orakzai. The exchange of fire was triggered when local police observed suspicious individuals heading towards a security forces post in the region.

Upon receiving this intelligence, security forces acted promptly, targeting the militants with gunfire. According to sources, both sides engaged in a fierce exchange of fire, but the security forces quickly gained control of the situation by surrounding the area and neutralizing the threat.

“Security forces responded swiftly, taking full control of the area and ensuring no further escalation,” a local military official stated. “The situation is now under control, and the area has been secured.”

Initial reports indicate that the militants sustained casualties during the clash, although no casualties have been reported among Pakistani forces.
