ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that while releasing the latest details regarding Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, 527 Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed and more than 755 injured in the operations by the evening of Friday.
In a statement on X, the Federal Minister said that, through an effective strategy, security forces destroyed 237 enemy check posts and captured and rendered inoperable 38 of the most important posts.
Attaullah Tarar further said that the military structure of the Afghan Taliban has also been severely hit during this operation. So far, 205 tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery guns have been destroyed.
He said that along with the ground operation, the Pakistan Air Force has also successfully targeted 62 bases in different areas of Afghanistan through air strikes.
The federal minister said that this operation is continuing with full force to defend the country’s security and borders, and every aggression by the enemy is being responded to with a befitting reply.
