NOWSHERA: A tragic incident occurred at Azakhail Payan Bhatti when the roof of a house collapsed, trapping nine family members, including women and children.
Rescue 1122 teams, led by call officer Murtaza Khan, reached the scene immediately and began relief operations. All trapped individuals, including a young girl, were rescued from the rubble.
One-year-old Dua was pronounced dead at the scene, while eight others sustained injuries. The injured were provided initial medical aid on site by Rescue 1122’s medical team before being shifted to NMC Hospital, Nowshera, for further treatment.
The injured include Raj Wali, 35 years old Bibi, 30, Suleman, 4, Ali, 11, Malala, 8, Arman Ali, 7, Galali, 6, and Iman, 3 years old.
Rescue teams urged residents to take precautions to prevent such accidents in the future and praised the rapid response that helped save lives.
