NOWSHERA: Deputy Commissioner Irfanullah Mehsud of Nowshera has issued two important orders to impose Section 144 in the district, aimed at maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and preventing environmental damage.
The first order establishes a complete ban on the illegal felling of trees in the areas of Mouza Saleh Khana and Mouza Dag Ismail Khel in Tehsil Pabbi for a duration of two months.
This decision comes in light of the potential conflicts arising from the irregular distribution of land. Deforestation not only threatens wildlife and the environment but also disrupts the peace and tranquility of the region. Violators of this ban will face action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The second order prohibits all types of construction within a radius of 1,143 meters around the Ordinance Depot Nowshera for two months. The statement emphasises that unauthorised constructions can create security concerns and pose threats to public safety and property.
The purpose of these measures is to maintain law and order and protect the public’s well-being in the area.
Deputy Commissioner Nowshera has instructed relevant departments, the district police, the forest department, and administrative officers to strictly enforce these orders. The public is also urged to abide by the law and report any violations to the administration immediately.
