NADRA spokesperson Shabahat Ali has said that not identifying a child after birth is a violation of the child’s rights, while making a Juvenile card for children is the responsibility of parents

In this regard, the NADRA spokesperson says that the Juvenile card issued for children under 18 years of age, which is valid up to 18 years, if one of the parents is not present for any reason, then the identity card of one of the parents is necessary for the child’s identity card. Shabahat Ali says that they are introducing a face recognition system for elderly people who have problems with their fingerprints. NADRA spokesperson says that in case of divorce, it is necessary to obtain a certificate from the union council.

He said that the parents are not aware of NADRA rules and regulations, and sometimes they face difficulties when they visit the centre without information.
