ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has announced that there will be no room for individuals who make inappropriate comments about the family of the party’s founding chairman Imran Khan, particularly his sisters.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar maintained his point by saying criticism or personal attacks of any kind against the family of Imran Khan run against the policy. “Those who target the sisters of the founder of the PTI have no room in the party. We need to be responsible.”
He again emphasized that Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is the chairman of PTI today and will remain so in the future.
A major meeting between the PTI members of parliament and provincial assembly members has been announced by Barrister Gohar, in which experts from different fields will attend and discuss issues pertaining to the improvement of the country, along with Imran Khan’s health.
PTI chairman announced the protest demonstration which they planned for February 8 together with a countrywide shutdown strike which they declared throughout Pakistan. He explained that the protest movement extends beyond provincial boundaries because it will take place throughout the entire nation.
The protest on February 8 will be voluntary. There will be no pressure or force on anyone, according to Barrister Gohar. He described February 8 as a major black day for democracy.
PTI maintains its current political position until further notice because the alliance announcement already has a designated date.
Internal rift deepens as PTI prepares show-cause notice for Mashal Yousafzai
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to issue a show-cause notice to party leader Senator Mashal Yousafzai over her recent statements against the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan.
According to party sources, PTI leadership reviewed Senator Mishal Yousafzai’s remarks and decided to take disciplinary action. A show-cause notice will be issued to seek an explanation for her statements.
