HARIPUR: Former Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani said that no machinery of provincial government was used in the ongoing by-elections of NA-18 Haripur, as PTI strongly believes in transparency and a fair electoral process.
Talking to Pakhtun Digital in Haripur after visiting polling stations during the election process, Mushtaq said that if anyone blamed PTI for using any machinery of the provincial government, it would be baseless, and despite this, there is a government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf; no one could point a finger at the conduct of PTI in the electoral process. He said that they are going to win the elections with the highest majority, as the performance of PTI is clear to everyone. He said that workers are active and enthusiastic, and PTI would win this election with a high margin.
Meanwhile, the polling time ends at 5:00 PM, which started at 8:00 AM on Sunday. The election process was peaceful; there were no reports of any violation of the election code of conduct during the election process. Personnel of rescue teams have also been assigned duties at various points in the constituency to respond to emergencies, while police and Quick Response Force (QRF) units continue to patrol the area.
