Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan said that no decision is acceptable without the confidence of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, and everyone should work together to develop an effective plan of action to eradicate terrorism.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar Khan said that PTI has always called terrorism a scourge that must be uprooted at all costs. He explained that PTI’s KP government holds a high position in good governance and is fully cooperating in measures against terrorism.
PTI leader Salman Akram Raja said that the party’s aim is to formulate a strong and consistent national policy that will help maintain peace in the country for the next 5 to 10 years. He stressed that PTI stands with the peace of Pakistan and it is not appropriate to level baseless allegations against it.
PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that the federal government needs to take the provincial assembly into confidence and take more serious and coordinated steps against terrorism. He said that PTI wants to implement the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, where the constitution and law are enforced and employment opportunities are provided to the youth.
On this occasion, the leaders also made it clear that terrorism does not belong to any religion or party, and to eliminate it, everyone will have to unite on one platform and develop an effective strategy.
