Former Speaker National Assembly and PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that no compromise will be made on the health of the PTI founder.
Speaking to the media on the fourth day of the sit-in today he said that founder gealth is crucial for PTI leadership and no compromise will be made on health of Imran Khan
He warned the government not to test the “stamina” (courage) of PTI workers.
He said that the ongoing sit-in outside the Parliament House will not end until Imran Khan is shifted to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad.
Asad Qaiser said that the opposition alliance has decided to approach the Supreme Court today (Monday) for Imran Khan’s medical treatment and relief. Senior lawyer Latif Khosa will file a petition in this regard.
He said that “normalizing the environment is in the hands of the government”. If the government provides medical facilities to the PTI founder in the presence of his personal doctors and family, the sit-in can be ended.
Asad Qaiser, while addressing international organizations and diplomats, said that “state repression” is ongoing in Pakistan and the whole world is seeing how the legal and human rights of a former prime minister are being violated.
Asad Qaiser is of the opinion that Imran Khan’s eyesight (which is reported to be only 15 percent) is in serious danger, therefore it is imperative to immediately remove him from Adiala Jail and shift him to a hospital.
