The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast indicating that most parts of the country will experience dry conditions today, while rain is expected in several areas.

According to the Met Office, the weather in Islamabad is likely to remain dry with partly cloudy skies. Similar conditions are expected in Murree and the Galiyat, where the weather is forecast to remain dry and partly cloudy.

However, rainfall is likely in parts of southern Punjab, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Mianwali and Khushab.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are expected to remain dry, although rain is predicted at isolated places in Bannu, Karak, Dera Ismail Khan and Chitral.

Light rain may also occur at a few locations in North Waziristan, Kurram and Hangu.

The Met Office further stated that most districts of Sindh will remain dry, though rain may occur at isolated places in Sukkur, Dadu and Sanghar.

Meanwhile, in Balochistan, rain and hailstorms are expected at a few places including Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin and Qilla Abdullah.
