Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has stated that no proposal is under consideration regarding the party’s return to standing committees, and no discussions have taken place within the party on the matter.
Asad Qaiser emphasized that PTI has not deliberated on rejoining the parliamentary committees.
He added that the mandate for ongoing negotiations continues to rest with Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
Commenting on the appointment of the opposition leader, Qaiser described it as a positive development, saying it should have been done earlier but was better late than never.
He also praised Mahmood Khan Achakzai for his sacrifices for democracy and expressed hope that Achakzai would continue to advance the party’s objectives, including the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.
