ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced on Monday that internet services across Pakistan may experience disruptions starting Tuesday, April 14, due to scheduled maintenance on a submarine cable.

According to a PTCL post on its official accounts, the International Cable Consortium has planned the activity to repair a fault on one of the submarine cables. The maintenance work is expected to begin on April 14, 2026, and could continue until April 20, 2026.

PTCL informed customers via a post on X that internet service degradation may be particularly noticeable during evening hours throughout this period. The company expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to users while the essential repairs are carried out.
