ISLAMABAD: The First National Conference, organized by the National Dialogue Committee, begins, suggestions for reducing political temperature and stability of the country.

An important national dialogue organized by the National Dialogue Committee has officially begun in the federal capital Islamabad. The main objective of this conference is to end the ongoing political tension in the country and pave the way for negotiations between the government and the opposition. Leaders of various political parties, renowned lawyers, and intellectuals are participating in this first session, which will begin at 1 pm today.

The agenda of the conference includes political issues and suggestions to get the country out of the current crisis through national dialogue. Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry informed the participants about the committee’s action plan and future agenda in his welcome remarks. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail, Mahmood Maulvi, and former Opposition Leader in the Senate Dr. Waseem Shahzad, and other important figures will address the occasion.

Representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami, MQM-Pakistan, and other political parties are also present in the conference, who will present their views on reducing the political temperature of the country. Experts believe that if these talks are successful, it will create a conducive environment for investment in the country. It is expected that in the event of political stability, investments of about one billion dollars from overseas Pakistanis can come to the country. A joint declaration of this important conference will also be issued this evening, in which agreed proposals for the future will be presented.
