Awami National Party Central President Senator Aimal Wali Khan has appealed to the people to remain confident regarding the 18th Amendment.

‎Aimal Wali Khan wrote on his social media account that nothing is happening on the 18th Constitutional Amendment, don’t worry, the guards are here.

‎Yesterday, an ANP delegation led by Awami National Party President Senator Aimal Wali Khan met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

‎Other senior leaders of the PML-N were also present in the meeting, in which the political situation in the country was discussed in detail.

‎ANP Central President Aimal Wali Khan thanked the Prime Minister for approving the establishment of a high-level commission to investigate the incident of Maulana Khanzeb Shaheed.

‎Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Advisor to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah were also present in the meeting.

‎The ANP delegation included Senior Vice President of Balochistan Senator Arbab Umar Farooq Kasi, Member of Provincial Assembly Zamrak Khan Achakzai and other members.

‎It should be noted that due to differences between political parties on the 27th Constitutional Amendment, it will not be presented in the Senate today.

‎Sources say that the amendment will be presented in the House after complete consensus and it is likely that the draft will be presented in the Senate on Monday or Tuesday.

‎Approval will be obtained from the federal cabinet before presenting the amendment.

‎Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for an official visit to Azerbaijan today, and after his return home, the amendment will be presented in the House only after the approval of the federal cabinet.

‎According to sources, a special breakfast will also be organized for members of parliament on the day the amendment is presented.
