LAHORE: Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Nashra Sandhu broke several records after taking 6 wickets for only 26 runs against South Africa in the third ODI at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Sandhu’s magic made sure Pakistan won by six wickets and also permanently imprinted her name in the annals.

South Africa Pakistan pursued down the mark in 31 overs with four wickets down, concluding the game with a resounding victory; women bowled out for 115 runs.

Nashra’s amazing spell served several milestones:

Having reached the mark in just 75 games, she became the quickest Pakistani woman to have 100 ODI wickets.

Her 6/26 is Pakistan women’s second-best bowling performance in ODI history.

She beat Sana Mir’s prior mark of 5/32 against the Netherlands in 2010.

Sajjida Shah’s 7/4 against Japan in 2003 still holds the best numbers ever recorded.
