PESHAWAR: The names for the formation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet have been finalised. The government initially plans to create a cabinet consisting of 10 members to lead the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration.

Official sources confirmed that the nominees for the first phase of the provincial cabinet have been selected. Among those expected to return are former ministers Meena Khan Afridi and Aftab Alam. Additionally, Akbar Ayub Khan and Arif Ahmadzai are likely to be included in the new cabinet.

Other potential members under consideration include Adnan Qadri from Khyber district and Idrees Khattak from Nowshera. The list may also feature Ehtesham Ali Advocate, Mian Sharafat, Dr Amjad, and Riaz Khan.

Sources indicated that a formal announcement regarding the initial cabinet phase will be made soon, following consultations with the party leadership and the chief minister.
