The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a warning to citizens to immediately renew their cards which were expired otherwise fees would be double charged after June 2026.

The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA), the sole authorized body to provide legal identity documents to Pakistanis living in the country and abroad, has issued a warning to Pakistani citizens whose national identity cards have expired.

In a statement issued by NADRA, it has been said that citizens whose national identity cards have expired should get their national identity cards renewed in a timely manner or have their B form converted into a national identity card.

In addition, children whose B form has not yet been made should also have their B form made as soon as possible.

NADRA has said that all the above steps related to national identity cards and B form should be completed before June 30, 2026 to avoid possible additional fees or fines later.

NADRA has issued these instructions under Section 30(1)(e) of the NADRA Ordinance 2000.
