PESHAWAR: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has confirmed the involvement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in the May 9 attack on Radio Pakistan, according to a report submitted to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).

The confirmation follows earlier findings by the Punjab Pharmaceutical Science Laboratory, which had also linked Chief Minister Afridi to the incident.

The NADRA report further confirmed the involvement of former ministers Kamran Bangash and Timur Saleem Jhagra, as well as PTI Peshawar President Irfan Saleem, in the attack.

The ATC is reviewing the report as part of ongoing proceedings related to the attack. The developments mark a significant step in the investigation, with authorities continuing to examine the roles of the accused in the high-profile case.

Further hearings are expected as the court evaluates the evidence presented by NADRA and other investigative agencies.
