LAHORE: Multan Sultans have registered a comfortable seven-wicket win against the Rawalpindi cricket team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 match.

According to the details, the match played in Lahore, Multan Sultans successfully chased the target of 183 runs set by Rawalpindi in 16.2 overs, losing only three wickets.

Sahibzada Farhan played a match-winning innings of 68 runs off 38 balls, while Josh Phillips contributed 56 runs. Shan Masood scored 27, and captain Ashton Turner remained unbeaten on 26. Mohammad Amir took two wickets for Rawalpindi.

Batting first, Rawalpindi posted 182 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted overs, setting a target of 183 for Multan Sultans. Sam Billings’ 56 runs off 34 balls went in vain, while Kamran Ghulam added 35 runs.

Captain Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 19, Dian Forrester scored 24, and Daryl Mitchell was out for 17, dismissed by Faisal Akram.

Faisal Akram was the standout bowler for Multan Sultans, taking four wickets. Arafat Minhas claimed two wickets, while Peter Siddle and Mohammad Ismail took one wicket each.
