The head of Jamia al-Rashid, Mufti Abdul Rahim, has made a shocking revelation that after the death of the founder of the Taliban, Mullah Mansoor Akhtar, was made the leader, and Mullah Omar’s son, Mullah Yaqub, who wanted to become the leader of the Taliban, was given 500,000 dollars and agreed to withdraw from the leadership race.

It should be noted that Mullah Yaqub is currently the so-called Minister of Defense of Afghanistan. Speaking on a private TV program, Mufti Abdul Rahim said that after the death of Mullah Omar, Mullah Yaqub insisted that he be made the leader.

He explained the story behind the resolution of the leadership crisis and said that Mullah Yaqub was very young, so he did not know anything. When the news of Mullah Omar’s death came, he insisted that I be appointed the leader instead of Mullah Mansoor. So obviously there are relations with all countries and during that time there was regular consultation at a high level and it was decided that Mullah Omar is a child and has not even seen Afghanistan so how can he be appointed as the Ameer.

Mufti Abdul Rahim said that when Mullah Mansoor Sahib was appointed as the Ameer, Maulvi Yaqoob Sahib became very angry that it was my right, I was the successor, so to satisfy him, he was also given five hundred thousand dollars so that he would be a little satisfied with the deal.
