PESHAWAR: The Pakistan cricket team wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Rizwan, has shared his excitement and at the same time stated his vision that he wishes to be the top player in the Big Bash League (BBL).
Rizwan, who is part of Melbourne Renegades, expressed that the BBL is a great opportunity for him to show his talent in the country of kangaroos.”If you do good in Australia, then you get to know everywhere very soon,” he said. Besides, he also mentioned that his visibility increased after the series in 2019 so he is now more than ever looking forward to the WBBL.
Rizwan credited a big part of Australia’s victory to the bold and daring mentality that they had. He even went as far as to say that he loves the hard conditions in Australia as they are a test for both batters and bowlers. “The conditions there suit me perfectly because they are challenging for both sides,” was Rizwan’s remark.
In a narrative mood, Rizwan spoke of how his innings in Australia had been responsible for the change of his career. His dislike of the Australian players was rooted in their practice of minding only their game and not getting involved in the others.
He recounted that during training, Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi had a competitive relationship that was good for both, he said, “Shaheen comes to me and I fight back.”. I aim for boundaries off him and he tries to get me out. It’s all about giving me the best performance,” he said.
Starc overtakes Akram, rewrites history as top left-arm fast bowler

Starc reached the milestone on Thursday in the pink-ball Ashes Test versus England, at the Gabba, where he took the wickets of Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope and Harry Brook in the innings.
Starc exceeded Wasim Akram’s total of 414 wickets a milestone the Pakistani legend reached across 104 Test encounters.
Starc achieved 415 Test wickets during his career making him the left-arm fast bowler with the most wickets, in Test cricket history.
For context, the record for the most Test wickets by any fast bowler is held by England’s former great James Anderson, who has taken 704 wickets in 188 matches.
