KARACHI: Pakistani actress and TV anchor Mishi Khan has provoked social media ire with her shocking claims regarding Halloween parties in Karachi.
Mishi, who is known for her candid and bold approach towards social and moral issues, in a recent video message branded the party as “open immorality” and said it was a matter of law and ethics calling.
Mishi said, “I was told that this event violated the moral code yet, unfortunately, the authorities did not take any action.”
Mishi also pointed out that some people may take her words as mere advice but she will not stop from telling the truth. “This is definitely a time for society to think when such parties are happening openly without any restrictions,” she uttered.
Her words provoked public opinion on social media. Many supporters said that she was “totally correct” whereas some other users demanded that authorities should take steps against these events immediately. However, a few detractors suggested that the matter is being unnecessarily blown up.

Shah Rukh Khan expresses regret to fans on 60th birthday
On his 60th birthday, not in a very usual manner but on social media, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan apologized to fans for not being able to meet them.
In a heartfelt post on X (Twitter), Khan said that police had prevented him from going out to meet the fans who were waiting for him. “I am sorry to all of you,” he stated. “This decision was made for the safety of everyone.”
He added, “Thank you for your understanding.” . I swear I cannot be more than you disappointed with the fact that I cannot meet you. I love you all and was eagerly waiting to see you.”
The Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, was indeed quite fortunate to have so many fans that it turned into a sea of people. But the actor could not come out on the balcony because of the security problems and so, as it happens every year on his birthday, he did not get to meet them.
