The Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in Punjab and the upper areas for the next two days and has advised citizens to be careful. Since last night, heavy rain with thunder and strong winds has been continuing in Lahore and other cities, which has brought a significant drop in temperature and made the weather pleasant.
The rain and strong winds that have been continuing in Lahore since last night have increased the feeling of coolness, with a wind speed of 14 kilometres per hour being recorded. Intermittent rain also continued in various districts of Punjab. In Gujarat, water accumulated in low-lying areas due to rain, while in Sargodha, heavy rain and hail fell with thunder and strong winds. A drop in temperature was also recorded in Daska, Wazirabad, Mianwali, Phalia, Khanqan Dogran, Narowal and Ferozewala.
On the other hand, light snowfall occurred in the upper and tourist areas of Shogran and Naran in Mansehra, and rain in the plains increased the intensity of the cold. The Meteorological Department has directed the citizens to exercise caution and take necessary measures in view of the weather conditions during the next two days.
