Meta has launched a new incentive program called “Content Fast Track” to lure popular creators from TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram back to Facebook.
Under this scheme, high-profile influencers with over 1 million followers can earn up to $3,000 per month, while those with smaller audiences are eligible for up to $1,000. To qualify, participants must provide proof of their following on rival platforms and commit to posting at least 15 Reels per month for a maximum three-month period.
While the offer is currently limited to creators in the US and Canada, industry experts are sceptical about its impact on top-tier talent.
Critics, including creator manager Jordan Schwarzenberger, argue that $200 per video may not even cover production costs for major influencers who already earn significantly more through brand deals.
While analysts suggest the program could be a windfall for smaller “micro-creators,” Facebook may struggle to convince the internet’s biggest names that the platform is worth the extra effort.
