PESHAWAR: The Meteorological Department has forecast dry and cold weather across most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to the Met Office, most districts in the province are expected to remain dry, with temperatures anticipated to drop further in hilly areas.

Cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country while, very cold in hilly areas during morning and night hours.

Moderate to dense fog is expected in Punjab, upper Sindh and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to forecast Fog in patches may develop over Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu, DI Khan and surrounding.

The temperature forecast indicates that the minimum temperature in Chitral is expected to be 0 °C, Dir is expected to be -1 °C, while Malam Jabba is -2 °C. In the plains, temperatures are expected to drop to 7 °C in Peshawar, 7 °C in Bannu, 7 °C in Dera Ismail Khan, and 2 °C in Abbottabad.
