Malysia Qari Ayman Ramadan secures first position in International Qirat Competition while Iranian reciter Qari Adnan Momin secures second position in the world class competition.

The results of the first International Hasan-e-Qiraat Competition held in Islamabad have been officially announced. After a tough competition among distinguished reciters from all over the world, Malaysian reciter Ayman Ramadan performed brilliantly and secured first position.

Iranian reciter Adnan Momin secured second position with his excellent recitation of the Holy Quran while while Pakistani reciter Abdul Rashid secured third position with great applause, for which the recitation enthusiasts expressed special appreciation for him.

The closing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, scholars, and representatives of various Islamic countries. According to the organizers, a record number of countries participated in the competition this time, due to which the event was able to gain extraordinary recognition at the international level.

At the end of the event, the winners were presented with trophies, certificates and cash prizes, while the organizers announced that the competition will be held on an even larger scale next year.

More than 37 Islamic countries sent their best reciters to this competition, including: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Morocco, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, Tunisia, Sudan and others.

Pakistani reciters also competed vigorously against world-class standards.The winners were presented with trophies, certificates and cash prizes at the closing ceremony:

The first position holder received five million rupees, second position holder three million rupees while third position holders got two million rupees.

On this occasion, the organizers said that the aim of this competition was not only to spread the message of the Holy Quran but also to promote communication and harmony among the Muslim Ummah through recitation.

A world-class panel of judges was formed for the competition, which included prominent reciters and Tajweed experts from different countries. A well-known reciter and teacher of reciters from Pakistan, Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali was also an important member of the judges.
