Major upset seen in the 19th match of the Twenty20 World Cup when Zimbabwe defeated Australiaby 23 runs.

‎In this Group B match played in Colombo, Zimbabwe defeated Australia by 23 runs.

‎In the match, Australia won the toss and decided to field first against Zimbabwe, after which Zimbabwe gave Australia a target of 170 runs to win.

‎The Zimbabwean team scored 169 runs for 2 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

‎Later, in pursuit of the target, the entire Australian team was dismissed for 146 runs in 19.3 overs.

‎Australia’s Matt Renshaw scored 65 and Glenn Maxwell scored 31 runs, while Zimbabwe’s Muzaffarini took 4 and Brad Evans took 3 wickets.

‎ Australian players could not even enter double figures while batting in the match.

‎It should be noted that this was the second match of both teams, in their first match Zimbabwe defeated Oman and Australia defeated Ireland.
