ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to a notification issued by OGRA, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs 10.68 per kg from January 1.

After the increase, the price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has increased by Rs 126.9 and will now be available for Rs 2,592.

OGRA reduces LPG prices for November following global rate decline

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced on Friday a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), providing relief to the public. The price has been lowered by Rs 5.88 per kilogram.

According to the notification issued by OGRA, the new price is now set at Rs 201.60 per kilogram. Additionally, the price of domestic cylinders has been reduced by Rs 69.44, bringing the cost of an 11.8 kg cylinder down to Rs 2,378.89. For reference, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder was Rs 2,448 in October of last year.
