TIMERGARA: Police in Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have apprehended a TikTok content creator from Kot area, who was engaged in the commission of obscene acts and the dissemination of indecent content online, according to a report.
According to the officials, Timergara Police, under the guidance of DPO Lower Dir, Taimur Khan, carried out the arrest of the TikToker, Naveed, who is the main suspect in this case. Naveed is charged with making videos that had offensive language, showing of intimate body parts, and content disrespecting religious and social values which, according to the reports, caused a riot among the public.
The DPO disclosed that the police have been implementing a zero-tolerance policy against those who are involved in the promotion of indecency, immorality, and social corruption. “We will never tolerate acts that disseminate obscenity among society and that are against societal values,” he stated.
The person who has been arrested is being held by the police while they carry out their investigation. Police warn that similar incidents may happen and urge the public to be vigilant. If they come across such cases, they must report them to the authorities immediately.
Police arrest TikToker “Lofer Lafanga” over offensive videos
Similarly, on 12 October, in a swift operation, Peshawar police arrested the TikToker who goes by the name “Lofer Lafanga” and is known for posting inappropriate and controversial videos on his social media.
According to the police reports, the individual who was suspected of the crime was arrested because his internet postings attracted a lot of complaints and were regarded as not only offensive but also deceptive to the public.
The TikToker underwent interrogation and during that time he not only apologized to the police and the community but also admitted his mistake and assured that he would not create or post any such videos in the future.

The police cautioned that there will be no leniency in action against people who, through social media, behave irresponsibly or disseminate indecent content online.
