Local government representatives once again took to the streets against wastage of time and lack of ineffective local bodies system.
Protesters marched in front of the Metropolitan Council Hall and headed to Jinnah Park. Local Councils Association criticized PTI local era local bodies system. Mayor Mardan Himayatullah Meer is leading the protest.
Protesters are holding banners and placards in their hands with slogans in their favor, they said that government wasted four years of local government representatives and they should be compensated.

They said that PFC shares should be increased to 50 percent for local governments, protesters and strong, stable and functional local government system should be created.
