SHANGLA: A tragic incident occurred in the Leloni Achar area of Shangla when a lightning strike hit the home of Yar Mohammad, resulting in the death of three family members and the injury of three children.
Local sources indicated that a lightning strike hit the house where the husband, his wife and their child were killed in the incident. This caused instant death for all of them. This accident happened at a time when there was heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in the area.
Three other children were injured in the incident and they were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
Local authorities and rescue teams reached the scene of the accident shortly after receiving the report. The children who were injured in the accident have stabilized as treatment continues for them.
The community is in mourning after the accident occurred, and people have expressed their sorrow and sympathy for the family.
Tragic incident: Domestic feud claims woman’s life
Earlier, a woman was shot dead by her husband during a domestic argument in the Rahimabad area of Swat.
According to details, the deceased woman was serving as a Lady Health Visitor (LHV) at a hospital in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The police transferred the woman’s body to Saidu Sharif Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police sources report that the police have started an investigation after they received a complaint about the incident.
