Leutianant colonel Sahibzada Gul Faraz martyred when terrorist rammed his Rickshaw vehicle with army convoy
Sources said that ecurity forces operation in the Sardarga area of Bannu was continue as Pakistan Army took action against elements associated with the Khawarij. During the operation, a suicide Khawarij rammed into a military vehicle leading a motorcycle rickshaw.
The commanding officer in the leading military vehicle, Lieutenant Colonel Sahibzada Gul Faraz, was reportedly martyred.Immediately after the explosion, a large contingent of security forces reached the spot.
A search operation has been launched by cordoning off the area.
The operation is still ongoing. So far, five Khawarij are reported to have been killed.

The Lt Col Gul Faraz, who was martyred in a suicide attack, posted a few Quranic verses along with the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah on his WhatsApp status at dawn, which has gone viral.
People across Pakistan are mourning after a screenshot of the martyred army officer’s WhatsApp status surfaced. Lt Col Sahibzada shared Quranic verses at the sehri time during the holy month of Ramzan.
