KOHAT: Three persons were killed under the debris of a muddy landslide in Qamar Kalay area of Tehsil Gambat on Wednesday.
According to initial reports, Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Ahmed Faizi said that rescue teams reached the spot immediately after the incident and started rescue operations. According to local sources, seven people were buried as a result of the landslide, of whom three have been pulled out of the debris. One of these three people died, while two were injured.
Rescue 1122 teams have reached the spot and immediately started rescue operations, and efforts are being made to pull out more people. According to the spokesperson of Rescue 1122, the rescue operation is ongoing, and every possible effort is being made to save the affected people.
Meanwhile, the local administration has been directed to expedite rescue operations in the area so that the lives of more people buried in the debris can be saved.
