ISLAMABAD: Pakistani television actress Laiba Khan has married her husband through a private Nikah ceremony which she conducted in Makkah because she considers this event to be a major religious milestone.
The actress revealed her wedding to fans through an Instagram post which included multiple photos from her private wedding that took place on January 11 earlier this month. The 29-year-old actor described their marriage as “a prayer answered and a promise fulfilled” because she wanted her followers to pray for her.
Laiba Khan selected an elegant yet straightforward bridal outfit which she wore to the event when she chose a white abaya with delicate golden embroidery and a red dupatta that displayed the words “Jawaad’s Bride.” She decided to display her authentic beauty through an unmade-up appearance because she wanted to preserve the holy environment around her.
The actress kept her husband anonymous because she decided to maintain his privacy by not showing his pictures to the public.
Fans, fellow actors and entertainment industry members sent congratulatory messages and well-wishes to the couple after their announcement which they shared through social media platforms.
Laiba Khan is regarded as one of the emerging stars of Pakistan’s television industry. She has achieved recognition within a brief period by demonstrating her acting skills in the popular drama serials Aafat Aas Paas and Belaagum among other shows.
Arijit Singh’s retirement from playback singing leaves fans in shock
