ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister, for Energy Owais Khan Laghari stated that the creator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan is now “completely revealed” to the public.
In an interview, with the media Laghari mentioned that the DG ISPRs recent press briefing represented “the voice of the nation “further stating that the PTI founder despite being incarcerated still manages to provoke unrest and turmoil within the country.
He commended the state institution for its resolute position on the PTI founder saying, “The complete truth about him has been presented to the public. Anyone who creates stories, against the Pakistan Army is simply a betrayer of the country.”
Laghari further stated that individuals who invent and disseminate stories, against the armed forces should not be shown any mercy. “Freedom of expression can never be prioritized over security. Why is it that only the armed forces are being singled out?” he asked.
Commenting on PTI’s governance record in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the minister said the party had ruled the province for 12 years but failed to deliver. “The nation will no longer fall for your misleading rhetoric. Your personal interests are not more important than the safety and well-being of the country,” he said.
Senator Vawda: PTI’s popularity fading, party could face major fallout
Senator Faisal Vawda has delivered a caution to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) declaring that failure to adhere to the “Minus One” demand may result in severe repercussions for the whole party.
During an interview Vawda stated that PTI’s support has dropped considerably and charged the party with being motivated by a quest for power and money showing no real interest in the nation. “The whole dispute is, among the politicians themselves. No more patience will be tolerated ” he remarked, adding that a new political slogan, ‘Aisi Ki Taisi ’ represents the no-compromise stance being taken.
Vawda further condemned PTI founder Imran Khan’s relatives claiming that his sisters have exposed his weaknesses. “If someone declines to hold a meeting, with the PTI founder he gets nervous ” he stated.
He emphasized that the party’s ongoing internal conflicts and personal ambitions are undermining its credibility, warning that the consequences could extend to the party as a whole if changes are not made.
