PESHAWAR: Following the directions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, an important meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025, at 12 noon in the conference room of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The meeting will include the Health Advisor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Secretary of Health, the Director General of Health Services, the Regional Director of Health Services for Hazara Division, the Chief Executive of Sehat Card Plus, the Director of the Implementation Monitoring Unit (IMU), the District Health Officer of Mansehra, and the Medical Superintendent of King Abdullah Teaching Hospital in Mansehra, along with other relevant officials.

The agenda for the meeting is to thoroughly review the case of Khizr, a patient who reportedly died at King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Mansehra, due to delays in treatment and inadequate emergency facilities. The meeting aims to examine all aspects of this unfortunate incident and propose measures to prevent similar issues in the future.
