PESHAWAR: Employees of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Secretariat have demanded the registration of an FIR against the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister, Naik Muhammad and a ban on the entry of private vehicles, and a mandatory full-body search for all guests.

These demands were made during a meeting where employees approved several resolutions. The meeting included officials from various Civil Secretariat associations.

An emergency meeting was convened, featuring representatives such as Noman Wazir, President of the PMS Officers Association; Malik Taimur, General Secretary of the KP Planners Association; Zafar Ali Khan Yousafzai, Chairman of the All Employees Coordination Council Civil Secretariat; Syed Bilal, President of the Stenographers Association; Muhammad Asad, President of the IT Staff Association; Sher Zaman Mehsud, President of the Drivers Association; and Altaf Hussain Dawoodzai, President of the Class IV Employees Association, among others.

The meeting concluded that an FIR should be registered against the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister, based on a note sent to the Chief Secretary by the Secretary of Primary and Secondary Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Representatives from all associations unanimously approved this resolution.

Additionally, it was decided to implement a complete ban on the entry of private and personal vehicles into the Civil Secretariat. However, employees with personal vehicles will be issued regular gate passes by the Administrative Affairs Department.

Furthermore, all official and non-official guests arriving at the Secretariat will undergo comprehensive searches, with weapons strictly prohibited. Guests will be recorded in a register, and visitor cards will be issued to them.

After the meeting, a declaration signed by all associations was sent to the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, demanding immediate acceptance of all the employees’ demands.
